Delivers quality home health care services to the Agency’s clients under the direction of a Registered Nurse or Therapist in accordance with physician orders, Agency and industry standards, and federal and state regulations.
• Assists residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming,toileting, eating, transferring, and mobility• Engages residents in meaningful conversation, socialization, and activity whileproviding personal care assistance• Responds to all resident needs and/or requests for care promptly, and provides orobtains assistance with care as necessary• Observes residents for changes in physical, emotional, mental, or behavioralcondition, unusual symptoms, accidents, injuries, or unusual occurrences, and reportspromptly to a licensed nurse• Completes all forms and documentation such as incident reports, change of conditionreports, and behavior tracking, as requested, and in a timely manner• Prepares and serves meals, assists with eating, not including tube feeding• Makes beds, empties garbage, and tidies rooms daily and as needed
• Current state CNA license in good standing• CPR Certificate• High school diploma or equivalent• Previous experience working with the elderly in a residential or long-term care settingalso preferred
